This project for the Western Irrigation District consisted of the construction of four new cast-in-place canal drop structures and three cast-in-place inlet/outlet canal structures. As the general contractor, CWP was responsible for care of water, snow removal, road maintenance, and all cast-in-place concrete works associated with each structure.
The project was completed under variable weather conditions, high winds, and winter construction constraints requiring heating, hoarding and careful concrete placement planning. In addition, the work was carried out across multiple active sites simultaneously, requiring detailed coordination of crews, equipment, materials, and scheduling.
