Mark is the President of CWP Constructors Ltd., guiding the company’s growth with a steady hand, an eye for detail, and over two decades of boots-on-the-ground experience. Since earning his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Mark has led major heavy civil construction projects across Western Canada from hydroelectric plants and highway infrastructure to complex bridge builds and rehabilitations.

Before founding CWP in 2007, Mark worked his way up through the ranks from field engineer to general superintendent and project manager gaining firsthand insight into every layer of construction execution.

At CWP, Mark ensures each project reflects the company’s core values; building safely, managed responsibly, and delivered with integrity. Off the job site, he’s focused on shaping a company culture where people are empowered to lead and take pride in their work.

Starting his career in 2011 as an engineering intern, Braiden gained extensive field experience before transitioning into leadership. Since graduating with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003, Kelly has built a career bridging the gap between field and boardroom, working as a field engineer, office engineer, estimator, superintendent, project manager, and now guiding CWP’s strategic vision.

Throughout Western Canada and the U.S., he’s developed deep expertise in estimating, scheduling, planning, staging, and project leadership. Kelly’s strength lies not only in managing numbers and schedules, but in empowering people, making sure every voice is heard, and every challenge is met together.
